A little overpriced but the taste is good.
Great tasting; No stomach upset and low in sugar….what more could you ask for?!
Contains the ingredients I look for in a protein shake, with minimal sugar and fat. Mixes well. No weird aftertaste I was expecting. A thinner consistency than most protein shakes which enhances the experience if you’re a fan of fruity pebbles cereal. This is the milk that’s left in the bowl. Brilliant idea that follows through. No protein shake is perfect, but this one is as close it gets.
Pros: One of the best things about this powder is how well it mixes with milk. It dissolves quickly and smoothly, without leaving any clumps behind.
Another plus is its low-calorie content. At only 110 calories per serving, you get a solid 25g of protein, which is great for anyone looking to manage their calorie intake while still meeting their protein needs.
Cons: The biggest downside for me is the taste. The "Gourmet Chocolate" flavor is overwhelmingly sweet. While the powder only contains 1g of sugar per serving, it does include artificial sweeteners like sucralose and stevia. For those who don't know, sucralose is an artificial sweetener which is about 600 times sweeter than regular sugar but contains virtually no calories because the body does not metabolize it. Although these ingredients are considered safe by FDA, in my opinion it makes the taste way too sweet. If you prefer your protein shakes on the mild side or don’t have a sweet tooth, this could be a dealbreaker.
Maybe another con is the package comes only half full, but as long as you are aware of how many servings you are getting this should be fine. It only takes up excessive space for what it is.
Thankfully, I had bought the 20 servings size, so I'll go through it in a short time. I'll try the vanilla flavor next time, hoping it's less sweet.
